How to create a database in SQL

SQL Server databases are some of the most commonly used databases, thanks in part to the ease with which they are created and maintained. First of all you need to install the SQL Server Management Studio software. After installing the SQL Server Management Studio software. Then you can able to create a database in SQL Server. So follow the following steps.

Step 1: First of all start SQL Server Management Studio. When you start the program for the first time, you will be asked which server you want to connect to. If you already have a server running, and have the right to connect, you can enter the server address and authentication information. If you want to create a database then set the database name(Desktop Name). and the authentication type is “Windows Authentication”.

Step 2: After the connection to the SQL server. You can see the Object Explorer window will open on the left side of the screen. At the top of the Object Explorer will be the server you are connected to. if it is not extended, click the on “+” icon next to it.

Step 3: After click on the plus icon you can some folders. So you can find the database name folder and then right-click on the database folder. After the right click on the database folder, you can see some options then you can select the NEW DATABASE option.

Step 4: After clicking on NEW DATABASE, you can see a new page. On this page, you can enter the Database Name and then press on OK Button.

Step 5: Finlay your database has been created. So you can refresh the database like right-clicking on the database and select the Refresh option.

Step 6: After the refresh press in “+” icon on the left side of the database. After pressing on “+” icon you can see your database.
