New Updates on Travel Advisories and Requirements due to COVID-19 outbreak

Dear Passengers,

Due to the situation of the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) worldwide, our regular international flight operations are affected. We work closely with authorities and we strive to gradually return to regular flight operations as soon as conditions allow.

It is mandatory to provide personal contact information during the booking for all flights. Travel requirements and restrictions to your destination countries will be newly updated here.

TRAVELLING TO PAKISTAN

Before traveling to Pakistan, passengers must meet the following requirements:

  1. Countries of travel origin are divided into two categories based on the COVID-19 risk assessment determined by the Ministry of National Health Services:
  • Category A: Passengers from these countries do not need an RT-PCR test before traveling to Pakistan: (see the full list of countries) China Saudi Arabia.
  • Category B: Passengers of these countries must provide evidence of a negative RT-PCR test not more than 96 hours before departure. (Children under 12 years of age, disabled passengers, and international delegations are exempt from the test): Canada, Afghanistan, Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Iran, United Kingdom * Gulf of Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, and France.
  • Category C: Passengers arriving from these countries must provide evidence of a negative RT-PCR test not departing more than 96 hours before the flight. Passengers will also have to undergo a second RT-PCR test on arrival in Pakistan. (Children under 12, disabled passengers, and international delegations were exempted from the test).

TRAVELLERS FROM THE UK

With effect from 23 December to 30 December 2020, the temporary access restriction applies to passengers coming from the United Kingdom, who have been or have been in the United Kingdom for the past ten days.
Passengers whose journey originates from destinations other than the United Kingdom, who travel through the United Kingdom and do not leave the airport, may travel to Pakistan.
Pakistani passport holders traveling to the UK on visitor / temporary visas may return to Pakistan with the following arrangements:
i) negative PCR test result, test departing within 72 hours after the flight.
ii) PCR test will be done on arrival in Pakistan by health authorities.
iii) compulsory house guarantee for 07 days.
iv) locate and test for all arriving passengers.

2. Download and install the PASS TRACK app on your smartphone, available on Google and Apple Play stores, and add your personal details within 48 hours of arriving in Pakistan. Alternatively, passengers who do not have a smartphone can enter their details on the web portal: https://passtrack.nitb.gov.pk/login.

According to the Ministry of National Health Services, other COVID-19 tests are also allowed which may be equivalent to RT-PCR tests. Full list available here.

Passengers from category B countries must also add a recording of the RT-PCR test result in the app/web portal. A printed copy of the information generated on the app or web portal will be required for all passengers during the check-in date. Children under 12, disabled passengers, and high-level international delegations are exempt from the PCR test and PASS TRACK registration.

3. Fill in the Personal Declaration of Origin and Health. All passengers are required to fill in this form and hand it over to the Health Department Staff present at the airport upon arrival.
